Hey guys! It's Elizabeth. Sorry I haven't written in over a week. I've been really busy with Christmas stuff and all the school stuff I had to cram in before winter break. Which started 25 minutes ago! WOOHOO!!! Now I don't go back to school until January 4th 2010!!!!!!!! But, of course, I have school work to do over winter break. I'm SO excited. Hey! It's Felicity! I'm so happy! I just got back from buying a horse named Maggie with my friend, Julie. Not my sister, Julie, the lady where I board Penny Julie. I'm so excited! Hey guys. It's Elizabeth. Today in English we had to share our projects and we had to do an oral presentation. It had to be 2 to 3 minutes and if it was more or less, you got marked down points. Hey guys. It's JULIE! Tomorrow I have a science test and an English project due. AHHHHHHH! I also want to curl my hair for tomorrow. Today we started this thing at school where when you do good things and the teacher notices it, you get this card that you can take home and show to your parents and then you put it in this box to enter for a drawing for a netbook, you know this little mini laptops, and again for a flat screen TV. Hey guys! It's Elizabeth. I'm so excited! I don't know why... but Chloe just got Julie and Rebecca's Story Collections in the mail! And, you know my cousin Taylor, well she is either getting Julie or Kaya from Santa and that means Chloe can get up to 85 dollars of American Girl stuff! The doll with accessories costs 114, but Grandma already spent 30 dollars on Chloe. So Chloe can get 85 dollars worth of American Girl stuff! She is probably going to spend it on Rebecca since the only thing she has is her Hanukkah Outfit. Well I better get going! We're going to see our friend, Tori, in Annie. Hey! It's Felicity. Sorry I haven't written. I've been so busy with schoolwork and riding that I haven't been on the computer much lately. Yesterday we went Christmas shopping and Chloe is pretty much done. I don't know what I'm getting though because she never tells us. I hate that! I always want to know before hand so that I know I'll like it. That's just me being impatient again. Anyway, today we shopped and took the dogs down in the woods. SO EXCITED - I just can't hide it!

Hey! It's Felicity. I'm really excited about the GOTY for 2010. If you are like us, you may have some questions about her. Unfortunately, American Girl usually keeps pictures and most information about the Girl of the Year hidden until very close to the release date. Luckily, we've been doing some research and here's what we found:

We have three things we know about the GOTY for 2010. First, she likes the outdoors and has a lot of energy. We know this because if you go to www.americangirl.com, click Stores, and go to see all events, it says the GOTY is energetic and likes being outside. Secondly, she might be African American. We know this because the author of her books (we found them without pictures on www.amazon.com), Jane Kurtz, has written several books with African Americans: Saba: Under the Hyena's Foot (Girls of Many Lands), Fire on the Mountain (Aladdin Picture Books) and The Storyteller's Beads. Finally, we know her name will be Lanie. We know this because we looked up her books on the chapter.ca website and found them (again without pictures). I hope we can find more for you soon.

But also thinking to this holiday season, I'm sad Kirsten will be retiring. She was such an inspiration, except now Rebecca covers Kirsten's main idea - immigration. Hey guys, it's Julie. Sorry I didn't write yesterday but I was so busy decorating for the party and stuff that I completely forgot. But it was fun! We didn't get any pictures but Chloe, Claire, Elizabeth, Felicity, Jess, Nicki, Rebecca, Brenna, Katie and I all went to Jonesville, a town near where we live, and went through this kinda scary Haunted House, had my fortune told (I'm going to marry a guy named Sven from Australia when I'm 26) and decorated cookies. Then we had pizza, chips, water and we ate our cookies we decorated. Then we went to this Bloody Butcher Shop that was a real butcher shop and I was so scared!!! I screamed 2 times. When we got to the actual Butcher Room, they kept pointing at me and saying that they wanted me! But they couldn't touch me. It was scary, but fun. Then we went home and watched Imagine That. Except that it froze in the middle and then we couldn't get it to fast forward, so I don't know what happened in the end. Anyway, have you heard about the new American Girl Crafts? Today I was looking at one of my favorite websites, Doll Diaries, and it said that American Girl is joining up with Michael's, the craft store, and starting a new line. COOL Claire

Hey guys. It's Claire :-) I have some good news and bad news. Good news is all of us are feeling better and the Halloween Party is still on this Friday. We're going to the Haunted Hayride, a Costume Contest at our local movie theatre, getting free dinner from a local school (not ours!) and going to the dance at our Middle School. Also, tonight is my Choir Concert! I'm really excited! I'll be happy to do it, but also happy to get it over with. Can you believe what Jess said about me yesterday?????????? That I would probably convince Chloe to not have the Halloween Party anymore when it was practically MY idea to have it????? I can't believe her. Also, I got a letter in the mail this morning from the dance school. I GOT IN!!!!!! I'll be moving there exactly one month from today, November 28th. It gives me time to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family on Thursday, pack up all the things I'm bringing with me on Friday, and move on Saturday. I have a lot of matters I have to take care of before I go. I have to tell my choir teacher that I can't be in State Honors Choir anymore (which I feel really bad about since we JUST auditioned, got in and now I'm leaving) and much more. NO SCHOOL!?!?!?!?!?

Hey guys, it's Nicki. We have some exciting but sort of scary news. Not for any of us, but for our community. Tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday we don't have any school because up to 28% of our student body has been absent this week from H1N1, flu, cold, and strep throat. Please be thinking (and praying!) for us this weekend. All of us have been sneezing, coughing etc. but nothing worse. Are you going to get the H1N1 vaccine? I think we are because unlike every flu and things, we don't have immunity to this. Well I was going to ride Jackson tonight but I didn't because I haven't been feeling too well. Hi, I'm Rebecca and I'm new to.... what's it called? Oh yeah, American Girl Journal. Chloe bought me on October 9th and I've been here a little less than two weeks. I'm not really sure what they usually write about here so I'll just give you a little biography about myself and how I like it here. Well my name is Rebecca Rubin, I'm 10 years old and I want to be an actress/singer when I grow up. More an actress, but I like to sing and dance too. That's why I've gotten along so well with Claire since we like most of the same things. But I like the other girls too so that if Claire gets accepted to dance school, I still have some friends. So far I'm fitting in really well here. This small town in Michigan was a big change from big Chicago, but I actually like it here. The girls have been especially nice and Chloe has taken me under her wing and made sure I'm alright. School was a bit harder and I haven't really found any friends yet, but I'm starting to get used to it. It was NOT a pleasant surprise when I came back and had to take the MEAP. Hey guys, it's Claire. I'm really sorry I haven't written for the past few days. On Friday I was sick and fell asleep. Then on Saturday I was at state honors choir all day - I officially made it in! WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I'm so excited. Except that if I get accepted to dance school, I'll have to quit that and the play. I wish I could stay, but it's an INCREDIBLE opportunity. Yesterday I went to church and went to ZooBoo with my cousin Emma. They decorate the Zoo so it looks Halloweeny and you go around "Trick or Treating." Hey guys, sorry if there are a few typos in here, Coconut and Honey are rubbing up against my hand. Almost everyone in my school is sick and today my best friend Brenna went home because she had a fever all day. She tried to blame me, but I proved her wrong. I'm Felicity... with exciting news!

Hey guys! It's Felicity! I have SO much to tell you! First, on Friday we rode the mega bus down to Chicago. I liked it but there wasn't much space, we were all smushed in there. When we got there we checked into the hotel and had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe. It was SO cool! When you walk in there is a big waterfall and a gift shop then you go upstairs and it's like you're in the rainforest! There were pretend gorillas, elephants and toucans. It was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. Then we went back to the hotel and swam, relaxed and slept. Saturday we went to my cousins baby shower which was nice, but I played with my cousins the whole time! It was really fun because my cousin has a HUGE house. Then we went to Shedd Aquarium which was TERRIBLE at first because raining and windy and we had to wait outside for 45 minutes because it was so busy. But once we got inside, it was SO COOL!!! We saw sharks, dolphins, eels, otters, beluga whales (which were everyone's favorites, I even got a stuffed animal) penguins and much more. Then we went back to the hotel and hung out. The next day was Sunday so we chilled out in the morning, went swimming blah blah blah. Then in the afternoon we went to American Girl Place. When you walk in there are all of the doll's showcases and their stuff. Then you keep going into Chrissa's area etc. then you go up an escalator into JLY. It was really cool. I'm going to go make another post with pictures! Bye! Love, Felicity

Hey guys, it's Elizabeth. I have to say, the fair yesterday was quite disappointing. We spent $25 for 22 tickets and only got to ride three rides! Yeah, it wasn't much fun. Today we went to church (I worked in the Nursery) took Chloe to the theatre, I went to see Penny and Patriot, took a shower and got my clothes ready for this week. Fun Felicity!

Hey guys! Felicity here... I can't believe our blog is 3 months old already! Time flies... well I have to tell you something: I'M SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED FOR CHICAGO! Less than a week! AHH! Now what should we buy? Chloe said she doesn't really want another historical, but if she did, it would probably be Kaya. She doesn't really want to get into Chrissa this late in the year. She thought about a JLY, but is not sure anymore. So that only leaves things for Julie, Elizabeth and I. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I don't think Chloe is really choosing before hand because she might want something else, or this instead and blah blah blah. Anyway, we got the tickets for the bus and the train today so we're pretty much ready to go. We're going to have to get up early though! The bus leaves for Chicago at 8 AM but we live 2 hours away from the bus station so we have to LEAVE at 6 AM. But we'll have to get up at 4 or 5 AM to get ready and take everything. Then we'll ride the bus for 4 hours, so it will be 11 AM Chicago time when we get there. Then we'll go to Rainforest Cafe for lunch, so we won't be hungry. Next we'll go to Shedd Aquarium and look all around. Finally we'll go to American Girl Place. We have to be at the train station by 6:30 PM. We will get back to Ann Arbor at 10:30 PM and then drive for 2 hours home, which will make it 12:30 AM! Whoo! Well I have to go. We're going to the fair today for the last day. I was afraid it would be rainy all day but it looks like it's going to clear up. Bye! Love, Felicity

Elizabeth

Hey! It's Elizabeth. Normally I would be in school right now, but today we have the day off because it's fair week where we live. So today we're going to be in a parade with our 4-H group and then we're going to the fair. There's this new ride called the freak out and it looks SO fun! I can't wait. Today is the first day so we're going today and then we're going the last day, Saturday October 3rd.

Also, I have noticed that we haven't written ANYTHING about school! So today we're kinda all writing this post about school:

Claire: I like school. Not because of teachers, tests or grades but because I have made SO many new friends! I have Pre-Algebra 1st hour and I hate that because I'm not good at math. Then I have P.E 2nd hour which I also hate because I'm VERY uncoordinated. Next I have World History, which I'm usually not very good at, but I have a crush on the teacher! Next is Science and I like that because Mrs. Guda always has a cute outfit on. Then I have Drama, which is my favorite. Finally I have English which is funny because I think Mrs. Leffler is a nut. I like school.

Elizabeth: I love school! Felicity and I have every class together. 1st hour I have English, which is a good way to start the day. Then I have World History, which is VERY fun. Next I had Pre-Algebra which is funny because Ms. Chavez has a lot of energy. Then I have Science, which is my favorite. Next I have P.E. which I don't mind, but could live without. Finally I have band, which is BORING! But overall, I love school!

Felicity: I don't have much to say... I love school too but Elizabeth pretty much already described everything. I really like my teachers because, as you know, I like to be up and around and so do they. They like me because I say funny things. I really love school so far.

Jess: I like school. I haven't made very many friends because I'm shy. I have almost the same schedule as Claire, but I don't talk to her and I feel very differently about my classes. Pre-Algebra is fun and easy. P.E. I don't really mind. World History I love because I like to talk about Belize. Science I love, because it's fun. Art is exciting and different. English is fun because Mrs. Leffler thinks she is funny but she's really not. I like school.

Julie: I LOVE school! At first I didn't because I didn't think I would make friends but I actually have two or three already. Pre Algebra is funny, P.E is SO fun, Band is alright, World History is fun, Science I like and English is easy. I really LOVE school.

Nicki: I LOVE school! I know it looks like I'm copying Julie but I really do love school. English is a great way to start the morning, Home Economics is SO fun! I love it. Science is alright, World History is fun. P.E is not my favorite and Pre-Algebra is hard by the end of the day. But overall, I really LOVE school!

So there you go! Also, we have a very sad announcement. I've never met her, but I can't believe AG is archiving Kirsten! If you don't believe me, check out Doll Diaries or Samantha and her sisters' extraordinary blog! Think about it. About this time last year is when we got the announcement that Samantha was being archived. Now this year it's Kirsten. Samantha and Kirsten are two of the three original dolls. The only one next is... Molly! I hope they don't archive Molly next year! Oh well. At least we can at least maybe look forward to a new doll next year! And we always have the GOTY 2010 to look forward to! Okay I have to go get ready for the parade. There will hopefully be picture later. Bye! Felicity Again!

Hey guys, it's Felicity. Penny didn't do her best today.She wouldn't get into the horse trailer this morning, then when we finally got there it started raining and she freaked out. So then she was all dirty again even though I spent 3-4 hours getting her cleaned up yesterday. Then when I started showing her, I thought she did well, but we didn't even place. Next I was in Club Exhibit with Elizabeth and Nicki and we got 2nd place... but there were only two groups! Then we had a lunch break. Then when I showed her next horses were getting too close to her and she started bucking. We got fifth place in that. Then we showed again and she started bucking again and wouldn't run correctly. We obviously didn't place in that one. I didn't feel good all day and I don't think I'm going to show next year. Elizabeth did better than I did and Nicki got all first places except in Club Exhibit with us.

I'm excited to know you think I should go to Chicago with Chloe! But we still need help deciding what to get. Thanks SO much pioneerfan for commenting. Should we get a historical or a Just Like You? Hey guys, it's Felicity. My sisters were supposed to write for the past 3 days, but they haven't. So it's my day today! I apologize for them. Anyway, tomorrow Penny and I show! I really don't want to do it because I haven't been practicing and it is SO much work! I'm trying to get out of it, but Chloe is making me do it. If I can get through tomorrow, then we go to the fair on Monday!
I'm SO excited! My cousin is having a baby and she lives in Chicago, so we're all meeting her there for a few days. We're going in 2 weeks and we're going to Shedd Aquarium, The Rainforest Cafe, and American Girl Place. We're all really excited, but only one of us can go with Chloe. JULIE AGAIN!!!

Hey guys, it's Julie. I'm SO sorry I forgot to post Friday and yesterday. On Friday I was with my grandma because Chloe went to see a concert. Then yesterday my friend Katie came over and spent the night. She left about 20 minutes ago and now I'm writing this post. I'm ready to go to church and do schoolwork that's due tomorrow. Hey, it's Elizabeth. This morning I had breakfast and went back to sleep, then I woke up, had lunch and we went to this place called Mystery Hill. It was this place where weird things happen with gravity. Like our tour guide took this chair that was on the floor, set it ON the wall, and I sat on it! It didn't fall or anything. It was SO amazing. Then we went to this ice cream place and I got a strawberry slush. Julie is still freaking out about her basketball uniform! She still has exactly 2 weeks until school starts. Hey guys! It's Felicity. I slept until 10 in the morning today and had breakfast, then went shopping with Chloe. We had lunch and I went on the computer. I'm really sorry I haven't posted lately! On Friday I didn't do much, I slept and ate most of the day. Hey guys! What's new? This morning we worked at this volunteer event called Loaves & Fishes for our church. Everyone brought things like furniture, appliances and things like that that they didn't want anymore and you could take them if you needed them. It felt so good knowing that people were getting the things they needed and they were learning about God. (Sorry if that offends anyone:) Then I had lunch and went to ride Penny. Next I had dinner and then we were going to go to a show at this ice cream parlor called Marcella's, but they were so packed that we have to go to the 8:00 show instead. Hey guys! It's Nicki and today we went shopping and I found this shirt that is SO cute! Felicity found this jacket that she really likes but she didn't buy it because it was too expensive. Ever since she's been looking all over online to find one just like it which is why I'm so late writing. Now she's whining about how she should have bought it and blah blah blah... then we went to this cool restaurant and went to a book store. I found a mystery that looks good. Then we almost lost Chloe because she went in a different store and we couldn't find her! It's okay though, we found her eventually.

I was hoping Taylor would call today and tell me about American Girl Place, but she didn't. I heard from Chloe that she went to the doll hair salon and they gave her a time to come back to watch get her doll's hair done, but in between that time she had lunch in the cafe and she couldn't eat with her own dolls(which is upsetting) and when she got back to the hair salon, her doll's hair was already done! Then the doll's hair got snagged on something and messed up and Taylor ended up going home in tears. I wanted to talk to her and tell her all the good things that came out of it, but she didn't call. Hey... s'up? Today I slept until 9:00 and then Chloe woke me up and told me I had to eat breakfast and take a shower so I'd look nice for her friend, Barb. She has 5 little kids (all being 5 or under) and 4/5 of htem are boys! Here are their names and ages: Trevor - 5, Jonathan- 4, Forest - 3, Walker - 2, and Isabella - 1. I love little kids so I played with them some, went on the internet to get some more details about Chloe's trip in October (which is a surprise that you'll find more about later) and watched T.V. in my room. Then we had lunch and went to the grocery store to get special dog food for Honey because she has sensitive and itchy skin. We bought some other things and then came back and watched our favorite show, iCarly. When I went to Build-A-Doll, I bought an iCarly t-shirt for her so whenever we watch iCarly, she wears it. Well, I better go because I told Clara I'd call her at 4 and it's 4:02 (I don't want her to get mad, especially since she moves Saturday and I'll probably never see her again :( Love, Claire

Jumping Jess

Hey guys! It's Jess. This morning we cleaned up the basement (where we have our playroom) because we are having friends of Chloe's over tomorrow. Then we went to this little nice deli downtown and I got an Untidy Joseph (or a Sloppy Joe. Haha, it's supposed to be a joke but it's kinda corny)and chips. Then we went out on our patio and ate and then went on a bike ride. Then I found this old jump rope and I started playing and I'm really good at it! That's why the title of this post is Jumping Jess. Also I learned how to play the number game. It's hard to explain, but it's really fun, and we played Uno. Then Julie showed us this book called "Who Is Haunting The White House?" that she bought in Springfield. It was very interesting. Next we went to go get something for 4-H and then we had Subway for dinner. Now I'm writing this post. Oh! Yesterday we went to dinner with my grandma and she gave us each $100! I'm so excited! Now I can spend it on school clothes and supplies. Anyway, I better go because I told Nicki she could have the computer at 6 (it's 5:57) Love, Jess

Hey guys! It's Elizabeth. I'm SO sorry I didn't write Sunday, and I THOUGHT I posted yesterday, but I guess not. Anyway, don't worry because it's summertime and we're busy but when school starts we'll be back on track. Sunday we didn't do much, yesterday we went shopping at a little mall and went out to eat, and today we made muffins and tried to get our school schedule, but were unsuccessful :( I can't believe it's August 11 already! It seems like just last week we got out of school. Maybe it's just me, but I can't believe it! Now we're all over our cousins leaving and everything is fine. But I'm really excited because tomorrow, Jake is going to a Yankees game and Taylor is going to American Girl Place (in New York). I'm going to call them Thursday and see how everything was. Anyway, tonight we're going out to dinner with our grandma and going to the movies with her because tonight is the least expensive night. Hello! This is Felicity and I'm SO sorry I forgot to post yesterday! I went on a ride with Penny and then watched a movie and completely forgot. Anyway, yesterday everyone was better with dealing with our cousins being gone. The house is so quiet now. But today everyone is fine and is used to them being gone. Today has been a very sad day! This morning Jake and Taylor left without any of us seeing them, but they didn't get far before they forgot a few things. So they started back and by the time they got to out house, I (Nicki) was up and got to see them! I was so happy I got to see them before they left. I'm kind of happy they're gone because we don't have to worry about company anymore, but I'm also very sad because they are so much fun and they bring something special with them that is not usually here. It's like I feel lonely without them, even though I hsve five sisters to play with. I went to the play room after they left and saw all the toys just the way we left them the day before and started crying because they were really gone. Jaguaa Julie

Hey! It's Julie! The title of this post is Jaguaa Julie because that's the name of my basketball team. My number is 22, like it says on my gym bag. Anyway, today is a sad day in the American Girl Journal household. My cousins are leaving tomorrow, but too early for any of us to see them. It seems like they've been here for a long time, but I'm really sad about them leaving. I won't see them again until Christmas! Taylor is so sweet, she is such a girly-girl, but I think she looks up to me because she would ask for advice and ask me to do her hair. Jake is so much fun, he is funny and this time while he was here, we just really connected. I think it was because we both play basketball or something. Anyway, I'm really going to miss them. This morning, Taylor, my sisters and I went shopping in this little mall, but we didn't find anything! So we looked in a catalog that we all like and we each bought something. They won't come until September, but I ordered a new basketball outfit, which was why I was describing all that stuff in the beginning. Then we went out to eat (which we DON'T do often) and went swimming. It was so much fun, and a perfect way to spend the last day with my cousins. Well, I better get going. Creative Claire

Hey! It's Claire! Can you BELIEVE what my sisters said to Clara????? They are SO rude! I'm really disappointed in them. But I guess they'll get their way (like they always do) because Clara's moving to Ohio. Right now I'm really sad. My best friend is moving, my other best friend hasn't even tried to see me this summer, my cousins leave on Thursday morning, summer is almost over, and my sisters have turned on me.

Sorry about yesterday! I was really busy because I was at a picnic with the people who are in the summer dance recital and COMPLETELY forgot. I was there from 1-3:30 in the afternoon, then went with Felicity (even though she hates me) and went out to see Penny. I forgot how DIRTY AND SMELLY it is at a farm! Yuck! Anyway, I took a shower right away and went to rehearsal for the summer dance recital. I can't believe it! On July 3, it was the first day of this blog! It's been a month already. Wow!

Today we played with our cousins, I went to the dance studio, had lunch ( we used Julie's grill) and went to the park. We ran around and I was so hot and sweaty. So I went home before the rest of the girls and took a shower. Anyway, I better get going. Love, Claire

Hey guys, it's Jess. We all haven't done much today, but yesterday was REALLY fun (except for Claire) at the family reunion. We went to church this morning and then had lunch and babysat for a girl named Alivia (like Olivia, just with an A)until 4. Then we took a nap until now, and I'm writing a post! I'm kinda sad today. I can't believe summer is almost over already it DOES NOT seem like it's August! Plus, my cousins are leaving Thursday :( I'm just kinda sad. But I'll get over it! Hey guys, it's Elizabeth and the past two days have been SO busy. Yesterday Chloe went to see her sister who is much older than her and none of us went with her. So we played together and went to a magic show that was really cool. Then at noon we went to a family reunion and was there until 4. It was great to see everyone and play with our cousins. It took us an hour to get home (it's 5 here) and now we're going to see our Uncle Ike who is visting our grandparents. Friendly Felicity

Hey guys, it's Felicity. I haven't been on in a while and i just read Claire's last post. Can you believe how self-centered she is? I couldn't so the girls and I went with Claire to her dance lesson today (which she HATED) and afterwards this is the conversation we had with her "friends":

US: Hey guys, you were great today!

CLARA: Yeah whatever. Shows how much you know about dancing! I messed up almost everything. Who ARE you anyway?

US: We're Claire's sisters, Elizabeth, Felicity, Jess, Julie and Nicki.

CLARA: (sounding annoyed) Oh...

US: Anyway, we came down to talk to you about Claire. (who was getting dressed) She's been getting REALLY rude lately and we haven't liked it. After coming down and meeting you, we think you may be some of the cause. No offense, but we were wondering if you could talk to her about it.

CLARA: WHAT!?!? Claire has not being rude to you at all! I've heard her around you guys before on the phone and you guys really annoy her. Maybe you should back off.

US: What do you mean?

CLARA: I MEAN give her some privacy. Leave her alone sometimes!

US: The only person she's been hanging around with for the last week is YOU!!! How could we give her more privacy with that going on?

CLARA: (suddenly nice) I see where you're coming from. You guys are so right. I'll definitely talk to her.

We were suspicious, but we told Clara to tell Claire we'd be out in the car. But, we knew Claire would be coming out of the dressing room soon, so we just turned the corner to listen to what Clara would tell Claire. Sure enough, Claire came out in less than a minute.

CLAIRE: Hey, not to be rude, but we were TERRIBLE today. I think Miss. Grace was getting angry at us. (Miss Grace is Claire's dance instructor.)

CLARA: I know. She's not usually so impatient. We just could not get those tap steps today! They're so fast! We should come here tomorrow together to practice so next time Miss. Grace won't get mad.

CLAIRE: Yeah, I'm sure I could.

CLARA: Hey, your sisters just talked to me about how "rude" you're being to them.

CLAIRE: (sounding angry) THEY DID?!?!

CLARA: Yeah, and they said I was the cause of it!

CLAIRE: (the same way) THEY DID?!?!

CLARA: Yeah, and they wanted me to talk to you about it.

CLAIRE: (again) THEY DID?!?!

CLARA: Yes! But I figured it was all stupid and wanted to end the conversation so I told them I knew what they meant, they were right and that I'd talk to you about it. You're right. They ARE really annoying!

CLAIRE: UGH!!! I HATE THEM! THEY ARE SO ANNOYING! THEY'RE ALWAYS IN MY BUSINESS AND NEVER GIVE ME ANY PRIVACY!

CLARA: ( with sympathy) I know... Oh, and they said they'd be out in the car.

CLAIRE: Okay... well, I'll see you tomorrow. Bye BFF!

CLARA: TTYL! (At this point there were footsteps, and Claire and Clara separated. We dashed for the car so Claire wouldn't know we were there the whole time and get even more angry.)

When she got in the car, she blew up at us and gave us this whole big speech about privacy and blah blah blah. Anyway, I don't know if there will be a post tomorrow because we're going to be gone all day. I think there is a computer, but I don't know if we'll be able to use it. Also, we're sorry we didn't write a post yesterday. We were busy all day and Julie forgot to write there may not be a post. Also there is a new poll! Be sure to take it. Hey, it's Nicki and I feel like I haven't written here in FOREVER!!!!! Anyway, we didn't do much today because we were all still tired, but we played, bought groceries, and took Coconut, Sprocket, and Honey down in the woods to run around. Now we're making dinner (it's 5:22 our time) and we plan on making chocolate chip cookies later. We might watch a movie on T.V. or something too. Anyway, I better go help the other girls. Jewels Is Going On A Trip

Hey guys, it's Julie. That's why the title of this post says Jewels in the title, just FYI. I am SO excited because (even though no one commented) we are going to Springfield, Illinois tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! I am the only one who gets to go because all the other dolls have gone on at least one trip with Chloe before and now it's my turn. I am going to miss them, but I'm glad to get some alone time with Chloe.We are going through Chicago so I'm trying to talk Chloe into going to the American Girl Place, but I don't think that's gonna happen. I don't have any money, but I keep saying, "but I'll just look!" We're going to Springfield for 3 days. We're leaving early tomorrow morning, and staying there Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night, then leaving early Monday morning. I'm really excited!!!!! But I need to go pack so I better go. I'll miss you guys! Unfortunately, there will not be a post tomorrow, Saturday or Sunday because even thought the other dolls could write posts, they have to be allowed by Chloe first and she won't be here so I hope the dolls don't put up a post without her permission! :) Bye, Love Julie

Sisters Are ANNOYING!

Hey guys, it's Claire! I love me, don't you love me, or am I just being prejudice? I'm not, right? Okay, for I minute I thought I was crazy, but people agree, so... anyway, I have been hanging out with my friends from ballet, tap and jazz lessons SO much more lately. We've been going to lessons and then hanging out and doing something afterwards. They are SO nice and I feel so good when I'm around them. My sisters say it's wrong to hang out with them because they will act like my friends and then talk about me behind my back! I know, why would they even think that, right? Anyway, I don't believe them and even if they think it's wrong, I'm still going to hang out with them. I better go. I need to take a shower before I go to the movies with my friends at 7. Today

Hi! It's Julie! Today at the waterpark was SO fun!!!!! I can't wait until our trip this week! Here's Hint # 2: Abraham Lincoln. WRITE WHAT YOU THINK IT IS IN THE COMMENTS, PLEASE! Today (after the waterpark) we all played with our Build-A-Dolls (I named mine Grace) and acted like they were at camp. We climbed trees with them, and Claire's fell on the ground and got dirty, so she blamed me for it. She's become a real snob lately... Build-A-Doll

Hey guys, it's Claire. I can't believe the stuff the girls have been saying about me! I am NOT becoming mean and my friends are NOT a bad influence on me. I think they're just jealous that I'm making a lot of friends and they're not. Anyway, I had SO much fun today! We all went to Build-A-Doll (including my cousins) and made a doll that looked like us. It was SO cool! I really like my doll, who I named Clara after my best friend at dance lessons. It's kinda funny; my name is Claire and her name is Clara. We love each other like sisters (even though I have plenty) I better go. I'm gonna get in my PJ's and watch a movie with popcorn and stuff. Yum! Love, Claire

Hi! It's Felicity and I'm SO excited to have our cousins here! Today we played all day and it was so much fun! They're staying for three weeks, so I'm sure that we'll have enough fun to last a lifetime by the time they leave. Chrissa, Gwen and Sonali won the poll this week, and there is a new one up. It's Just Julie

Hey it's Julie and I feel like a haven't been on for a century! Today we put out our hammock, tent, and tree swing. It was really fun getting new stuff out. Our cousins come tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!Too bad Claire is in a bad mood. Since yesterday when we got into our little stitch, she's been acting like a real snob. But I won't let it get me down. Our cousins are coming, we have our summer stuff out and Chloe made a BUNCH of stuff from the Doll Crafts book she bought yesterday. I really feel like playing basketball. It's SO nice here in Michigan and I hear that Jake is pretty good at basketball, so I better practice up. I can't have a seven year old beating me!!!!! Anyway, I better go. Love, Julie

Doll Crafts/ Claire

Hey! It's Nicki! Sorry I haven't written a post in a while. But I'm excited because I get to tell you what Chloe got us today. It doesn't seem like much (I think it will be nice to have); but she got us Doll Crafts the book. There are a lot of cool things in there like money, cards and other stuff like that. There isn't much to tell you today, but we worked on our house while Chloe was shopping and she was very pleased when she got home :) Oh! And I'll tell you about Claire.

So she came home from her dance lesson and said:

CLAIRE: So, what did you guys to today?

US: Cleaned the house for Chloe while she was gone because we thought she'd be tired.

CLAIRE: (sounding unimpressed) Oh.

US: How was your dance lesson?

CLAIRE: Well, it wasn't only a dance lesson, it was a jazz, tap and ballet lesson. The other girls were so fun! We were all fantastic, but I was the best.

US: Oh, sorry. What about us, aren't we fun to hang out with?

CLAIRE: Well... you guys are alright, but sometimes you're boring. The other girls are always exciting!

US :We're BORING?!?!?! Well, why don't you go talk to someone else then, and let them entertain you?

CLAIRE: Fine! I'll go see what my FRIENDS are doing! (Stomps out the front door.)

At first we laughed at her, then we were angry she said we were boring, and then worried she might be changing because of those girls. I better go... Love, Nicki

Clean Freaks/ Claire

Hello there, it's Elizabeth. Today we were all cleaning freaks and cleaned most of the house for our cousins who are coming on Friday. It was sort od silly since the housekeeper is coming tomorrow, but... I'm SO excited! Tomorrow Chloe is going shopping and she said she was getting something for allof us. She won't give us any clues, so we'll tell you what it is tomorrow. Also, something has been up with Claire lately. She's taking summer dance classes at Studio 55, our local dance studio. She's made some cool friends (so she says) and has started to hang out with them all the time. She's beginning to get an attitude. Hopefully those girls aren't being a bad influence on her. Garage/Movie

Hey it's Felicity here. Today we cleaned and organized the garage for when our cousins come. I'm sure Jess already told you all about them. We play in the garage and driveway a lot, so it was good to fix it up. I LOVED the movie yesterday! It was sort of an unknown movie called This and That. It's about these girls that are twins and one girl is really pretty and wants to fit in. The other is not really pretty, not really ugly and wants to stand out. Anyway, it was a really good movie. HERE'S JESS!!!!!!!!!

Hi, this is Jess and today we were SO busy! This morning we went shopping(for groceries and other stuff we need) had lunch, and went on a LONG bike ride. It was fun, but we're all wiped out now. It's warm in Michigan today. Not as hot as California, but still... This week we're getting ready for our cousins to come. They're twins, and they're seven years old. They're names are Jake and Taylor. It's fun when they're here, but we all get tired. Seven year olds never sleep! Anyway, we'll let you kow how it's going and what we're doing while they're here. Also, Chloe is going shopping on Wednesday and said she was getting something for us all. We're all excited and trying to figure out what it could be. I better go, we're going to the movies at 7. Sleepover/New Poll

Hey! This is Claire and I'm here to tell you the sleepover was great! Everyone invited one friend over (except Felicity and Elizabeth, they invited each other) and we had pizza, went on a scavenger hunt, had smores, watched a movie, had our own American Idol (I won!) and then we crashed :( We had pancakes for breakfast and then they all left. SURPRISE!!!!!!!!

Hello! It's Claire and Jess, and we had SO much fun at the beach today! First we went swimming for about three hours. We were all like fish! It was so fun. We played like we were mermaids and we had to hide from the other people so they wouldn't find out we were mermaids. We had three chances to make our tails turn into legs, but after that, we were done. Then we had a picnic at the beach on one of the picnic tables. Then we played in the sand and made this HUGE sand castle. It was so awesome! It was so big, all six of us could fit inside it! We also played on the playground. Over all it was a really fun day.

Nobody commented, but our surprise was that we are having a sleepover tonight! We're all really excited... anyway, vote on the poll! There is only 5 hours left, so HURRY!!!!! Hey! This is Felicity and Elizabeth here and we have a variety of things to tell you:

1. As we're sure you know, we are best friends again! We are SO happy, as is everyone here at American Girl Journal!
2. Today we went to the natural history museum, and it was so cool!!!! We got to see dinosaur fossils, wax people and so many more neat things. Then we went to the zoo and saw ALL the animal exhibits! Our favorite animal was the giraffe, but they were all really cool. We even got to see a baby elephant that was SO CUTE! The other girls are all really tired from traveling and stuff and we'll probably crash soon, but...

Fun Times

Hey! This is Julie and Nicki and today we had such a fun time! We went shopping and bought SO many cute clothes, went to the cafe and ate delicious food, and Jess actually got face to face with a whale at the aquarium!!! Fighting Has Stopped!

Hi there, I'm Claire and I'm happy to tell you the fight between Felicity and Elizabeth has ended! They compromised and are FINALLY best friends again. This is what went on:

They were eating breakfast at the table together and were both staring at their cereal silently. All of a sudden, Elizabeth said:

Elizabeth: Listen, I'm sorry I brought up that fight Felicity.

Felicity: No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have blown up like that.

Elizabeth: I was just thinking about it as we were singing, and thought we would laugh about it.

Felicity: Yeah, I wasn't really thinking.

Elizabeth: Can you ever forgive me?

Felicity: Of course! But can you ever forgive ME?

Elizabeth: Absolutely! So we're friends again, right?

Felicity: Yes! I'm glad to have you as a best friend, Elizabeth.

Elizabeth: I'm glad to you as a best friend, Felicity!

Felicity: I'm also glad we're done fighting.

Then they both smiled at each other and hugged. We're so happy their done fighting! Also, here are our plans for the rest of the week:

Wednesday: Go shopping in the morning, eat at the cafe, and go to the aquarium.

Thursday: Go to the museum, eat lunch, and go to the zoo.

Friday: Go swimming, have a picnic, and play at the beach.

Fighting Needs To Stop!/ Other Things

Hello, this is Jess McConnel and as Felicity told you, yesterday we went to see the Sound of Music! We all loved it and Chloe did such a great job in it. Though none of us were in THIS performance we're thinking about doing our own Sound of Music for American Girl Journal.

Anyway, Felicity and Elizabeth are STILL fighting so Nicki, Julie, Claire and I got together to think of a solution to stop it. We got Felicity and Elizabeth together to each give their side of the story. Here are the rules: they can't interupt each other, but they can ask questions. Here is Elizabeth's side of the story:

Elizabeth: "As Felicity and I were singing "America", I was thinking about the Revolutionary War and fighting. Then I remembered when Felicity and I got into a fight and just wanted to ask her about it. I didn't think she'd blow up like she did, and asked her." Here is Felicity's side of the story:

Felicity: "I don't understand why Elizabeth even brought up that fight. We never really said who was right or wrong... the 4th of July was supposed to celebrate how America won the fight, and got free from the King. I just don't think someone far away should have ruled America."

Fighting(continued)/ Sound of Music

Hi, this is Felicity Merriman and I am SO mad at Elizabeth! I can't believe she wrote a post about how "stubborn" I'm being! I am NOT being stubborn! How would you feel if your best friend's older sister called you uncivilized and then your best friend didn't even say anything because she is too scared of her sister? Wouldn't you be upset? Now she's being really rude. Whenever I try to talk to her, she ignores me and says to one of the other girls, " Did you hear something?" and then walks away with the girl she's with. All the girls are ignoring me now and are on Elizabeth's side. The only one who will listen to me is Chloe.

As Elizabeth told you yesterday, we will be doing something exciting this afternoon! We will be attending our first musical, Sound of Music. All of us here at American Girl Journal love to sing, play instruments and dance. So Chloe thought it would be fun for us to go see her in Sound of Music. I'm really excited! I'm not sure if I'll like it because it sounds modern, but I'm looking forward to it! Be sure to check tomorrow to learn about our plans for this week! Fighting(continued)/ New Feature

Hi, this is Elizabeth Cole and I'm wishing you a very happy 4th of July! Unfortunately, I am not having a very happy 4th of July and I'm angry & upset. Yesterday, as you know, Felicity and I got into a fight. We just don't understand each other and she is SO stubborn. The whole day, as we've been celebrating Independence Day, she's been sitting in her chamber pouting. She hasn't eaten breakfast or lunch and whenever someone tries to talk to her she screams, "GO AWAY!!!" Obviously we haven't made up yet. But I'm sad because all the other girls have their friends to play with and Felicity is my only friend. Hopefully we can work it out.

Luckily we have something we'd like to tell you. Now you can send in pictures of any events you are holding with your dolls and we'll post them here! We love to see your pictures so if you'd like, send them in. Send in pictures of birthday parties, shopping trips or anything else you can think of. Fourth of July/ Fighting

Hi! This is Nicki Fleming here, and I'm going to tell you about our plans for the Fourth of July. This morning we were in a parade. It was really fun; I felt like I was supporting our country and I got to see a few of my new friends that were watching. Sorry, you may have to tilt your head a bit, but there are a few pictures above of us in our outfits. From top to bottom: Julie, Claire, Jess, Nicki, Elizabeth, Felicity and then there is a group picture. The sign below us says American Girl Journal.

We also sang a few Patriotic songs to celebrate Independence Day. From top to bottom: Claire & Jess singing You're a Grand Old Flag, Elizabeth & Felicity singing America, and Nicki & Julie singing The Star Spangled Banner. (Yes, we are singing into a hairbrush :) Then Felicity and Elizabeth got into a fight:

Elizabeth: Felicity, do you remember when we got in that fight, because Annabelle called you uncivilized and you got angry at me because I didn't stand up for you?

Felicity: Yes... but you know I was right in acting that way.

Elizabeth: Well I can understand why you got angry, but I can see why Annabelle said that. It is uncivilized to dump tea in the harbor, and very unloyal to the king.

Felicity: But I didn't think it was right for the king to rule us and charge taxes if he was so far away.

Elizabeth: I just can't understand why you would think that!

Felicity: I can't understand how you could stay loyal to the king!

Elizabeth: You make me so angry! Why are you so stubborn?

Felicity: I can't help it, I'm a hothead remember?

Elizabeth: Hmph! ( Runs away)

Felicity: Hmph! ( Runs the other way)

I hope they make up and become friends again soon. When two people are fighting and they live in the same house, it's so tense. They'll get lonely for each other, they always do. I better go, I feel like seeing Jackson. I'll keep you posted with the Elizabeth/Felicity fight! Love, Nicki
