Elizabeth

Hey guys! I'm so sorry I haven't written in over a week! We've been really busy this past week-Claire left for dance school on Saturday. We all miss her, but luckily she gets to come home for Christmas. How was your Thanksgiving? Ours was good; we spent a lot of time with Claire. Tonight we are decorating for Christmas-finally! It seems like everyone has had their decorations up for a long time-even out town! Well I better go. I have homework, I plan to see Penny and Patriot tonight with Felicity and then we're decorating. Oh! All of us love Justin Bieber, just to let you know! Okay! Bye! Love, Elizabeth

Celebrating Thanksgiving!

Hey guys! It's Rebecca. Each day this week, until Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, we will be having a word jumble that has to do with Thanksgiving. We will show you the correct spaces and below it there will be a weird sentence that has all the words in it. There will also be three hints. Here's the one for today:

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

A TANDEM SHREW FOLLY
Hints:
1. ship hits beach
2. historical blossom docks?
3. all pilgrims ashore!

Please comment below what it is if you like. Yes, we did get this from www.americangirl.com. We are celebrating Thanksgiving today with my Grandma, and then again on Thursday with my other Grandma. Well, I better go. Almost time for lunch! Love, Rebecca

Felicity Here!

Hey! It's Felicity! I'm so happy! I just got back from buying a horse named Maggie with my friend, Julie. Not my sister, Julie, the lady where I board Penny Julie. I'm so excited! She is beautiful and excellent at riding. I'm looking forward to her. Also, Elizabeth wants me to tell you that she actually got an 84% on her English project so she got a B in stead of a C+! Also, this is our 100th post today! WOOOHOOOO! Well I better get going! Bye! Love, Felicity

ELIZABETH!

Hey guys. It's Elizabeth. Today in English we had to share our projects and we had to do an oral presentation. It had to be 2 to 3 minutes and if it was more or less, you got marked down points. My presentation was 1 minute 59 seconds and she had to mark me down points! Now I have a C+ if not worse on it! I was SO mad! I still am. Anyway, I better get going because I have bell choir practice tonight. Bye! Love, Elizabeth

Julie

Hey guys. It's JULIE! Tomorrow I have a science test and an English project due. AHHHHHHH! I also want to curl my hair for tomorrow. Today we started this thing at school where when you do good things and the teacher notices it, you get this card that you can take home and show to your parents and then you put it in this box to enter for a drawing for a netbook, you know this little mini laptops, and again for a flat screen TV. I haven't gotten any yet, but I hope I do! The school started this because they think kids that misbehave get a lot of attention, but not good attention. Well I better get going. Bye! Love, Julie

:) or :(

Hey! It's Rebecca. I'm happy, but I'm also sad. I'm happy because yesterday Chloe got my story collection in the mail and she is probably going to get more stuff for me for Christmas, but I'm sad because yesterday we went to Michael's up in Jackson (which is like an hour and a half away from where we live) hoping that they would have the American Girl crafts, but guess what: Nope! They said that they didn't have them yesterday, but they would today! I was mad. I'm also sad because Claire leaves in like 13 days. Well, I better get going. I have an English project due tomorrow. Bye! Love, Rebecca

HEY!!!

Hey guys! It's Elizabeth. I'm so excited! I don't know why... but Chloe just got Julie and Rebecca's Story Collections in the mail! And, you know my cousin Taylor, well she is either getting Julie or Kaya from Santa and that means Chloe can get up to 85 dollars of American Girl stuff! The doll with accessories costs 114, but Grandma already spent 30 dollars on Chloe. So Chloe can get 85 dollars worth of American Girl stuff! She is probably going to spend it on Rebecca since the only thing she has is her Hanukkah Outfit. Well I better get going! We're going to see our friend, Tori, in Annie. She plays Annie :) It's an hour away and I haven't eaten lunch yet so I better go. Bye! Love, Elizabeth

Felicity

Hey! It's Felicity. Sorry I haven't written. I've been so busy with schoolwork and riding that I haven't been on the computer much lately. Yesterday we went Christmas shopping and Chloe is pretty much done. I don't know what I'm getting though because she never tells us. I hate that! I always want to know before hand so that I know I'll like it. That's just me being impatient again. Anyway, today we shopped and took the dogs down in the woods. It was busy and felt like we got a lot done, but it doesn't look like it when you read it! Well I have to go because I want to ride Penny before we go watch a movie at church tonight! Bye! Love, Felicity

Rebecca <3

Hey! Rebecca here. I don't know why, but I'm happy. That's why I put a heart in the title (if you turn your head to the right, it'll make more sense). I can't believe it's been a month since Chloe brought me home. Think about it, a month ago, I was in Chicago! Anyway, I better go because I have homework and I need to study for a test tomorrow. Bye! Love, Rebecca

Julie

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't write yesterday, but Chloe had to take Claire to a state honors choir rehearsal yesterday and was gone - so I couldn't write. I don't have much to say... I have to leave soon because we're going to church. So I better go. Sorry for the short post! Love, Julie

P.S. Claire leaves in 19 days! :(

SO EXCITED - I just can't hide it!

Hey! It's Felicity. I'm really excited about the GOTY for 2010. If you are like us, you may have some questions about her. Unfortunately, American Girl usually keeps pictures and most information about the Girl of the Year hidden until very close to the release date. Luckily, we've been doing some research and here's what we found:

We have three things we know about the GOTY for 2010. First, she likes the outdoors and has a lot of energy. We know this because if you go to www.americangirl.com, click Stores, and go to see all events, it says the GOTY is energetic and likes being outside. Secondly, she might be African American. We know this because the author of her books (we found them without pictures on www.amazon.com), Jane Kurtz, has written several books with African Americans: Saba: Under the Hyena's Foot (Girls of Many Lands), Fire on the Mountain (Aladdin Picture Books) and The Storyteller's Beads. Finally, we know her name will be Lanie. We know this because we looked up her books on the chapter.ca website and found them (again without pictures). I hope we can find more for you soon.

But also thinking to this holiday season, I'm sad Kirsten will be retiring. She was such an inspiration, except now Rebecca covers Kirsten's main idea - immigration. But let's look on the bright side. Maybe this means a new doll next year! What do you think? Feel free to comment below. I better get going because I need to see Penny before it gets dark. Bye! Love, Felicity

ELIZABETH!

Hey guys, it's Elizabeth. Even though I'm sad that Jess and Nicki will be leaving us, I think we should start fresh. At school they're having all kinds of after school activities: dance dance revolution, painting, cooking and more. I'm excited, but don't know what to sign up for. Also, I have a secret: I like this guy named Kyle. Should I ask him out? I have to go to Youth Group. Bye! Love, Elizabeth

Nicki... :(

Hey guys... it's Nicki. Unfortunately I have some bad news. Jess and I have decided that we're not going to write on the blog anymore. Sorry I haven't written for the past few days, but Jess and I have been deciding. We've just gotten so busy, me with riding and chores and Jess with all the sports. We aren't even that important to the blog. Julie, Rebecca, Felicity and Elizabeth still want to write because they say they want to take advantage of the technology. We're really sorry and we know it seems like little by little everything is going away, but really this will make the blog better. This will be my last post on the blog. With Lots of Love, Nicki
