Hey guys, it's Julie. Sorry I didn't write yesterday but I was so busy decorating for the party and stuff that I completely forgot. But it was fun! We didn't get any pictures but Chloe, Claire, Elizabeth, Felicity, Jess, Nicki, Rebecca, Brenna, Katie and I all went to Jonesville, a town near where we live, and went through this kinda scary Haunted House, had my fortune told (I'm going to marry a guy named Sven from Australia when I'm 26) and decorated cookies. Then we had pizza, chips, water and we ate our cookies we decorated. Then we went to this Bloody Butcher Shop that was a real butcher shop and I was so scared!!! I screamed 2 times. When we got to the actual Butcher Room, they kept pointing at me and saying that they wanted me! But they couldn't touch me. It was scary, but fun. Then we went home and watched Imagine That. Except that it froze in the middle and then we couldn't get it to fast forward, so I don't know what happened in the end. Anyway, have you heard about the new American Girl Crafts? Today I was looking at one of my favorite websites, Doll Diaries, and it said that American Girl is joining up with Michael's, the craft store, and starting a new line. Hey... it's Rebecca. I've done my research so I hopefully won't be as awkward this time. Well today I had homework that Chloe helped me with so that's what took me so long. I'm kinda sad about Claire leaving. She's the girl I've gotten to know best. I hope I'm not the one who is pushing her to leave. After all, I do cover all the things she likes. Oh that would be terrible! Well I have to go because I'm going to the barn with Nicki and Felicity right now. I'm excited because in Chicago, there weren't many horses walking around, but I'm also sort of nervous, just because they're so big! I better go. Bye! With love, Rebecca

COOL Claire

Hey guys. It's Claire :-) I have some good news and bad news. Good news is all of us are feeling better and the Halloween Party is still on this Friday. We're going to the Haunted Hayride, a Costume Contest at our local movie theatre, getting free dinner from a local school (not ours!) and going to the dance at our Middle School. Also, tonight is my Choir Concert! I'm really excited! I'll be happy to do it, but also happy to get it over with. Can you believe what Jess said about me yesterday?????????? That I would probably convince Chloe to not have the Halloween Party anymore when it was practically MY idea to have it????? I can't believe her. Also, I got a letter in the mail this morning from the dance school. I GOT IN!!!!!! I'll be moving there exactly one month from today, November 28th. It gives me time to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family on Thursday, pack up all the things I'm bringing with me on Friday, and move on Saturday. I have a lot of matters I have to take care of before I go. I have to tell my choir teacher that I can't be in State Honors Choir anymore (which I feel really bad about since we JUST auditioned, got in and now I'm leaving) and much more. Well, I have a lot of homework calling me, so I better go. Bye! Love, Claire

Hey guys, it's Jess. We're all feeling a little better today, but still not great. I'm REALLY tired. I don't have anything to write about. Sorry I didn't write yesterday... tomorrow we go back to school. And on Friday we're having a Halloween Party (if all of us feel alright). I bet Claire will fake sick so we can't have the party. She already convinced Chloe that we don't need to dress up because we are in 6th, 7th and 8th grade and that is childish. I have to go. Bye. Love, Jess

NO SCHOOL!?!?!?!?!?

Hey guys, it's Nicki. We have some exciting but sort of scary news. Not for any of us, but for our community. Tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday we don't have any school because up to 28% of our student body has been absent this week from H1N1, flu, cold, and strep throat. Please be thinking (and praying!) for us this weekend. All of us have been sneezing, coughing etc. but nothing worse. Are you going to get the H1N1 vaccine? I think we are because unlike every flu and things, we don't have immunity to this. Well I was going to ride Jackson tonight but I didn't because I haven't been feeling too well.
